3rdActs.com is a Website for people who are getting old. That is, all of us. Actually, we're for people who are pretty comfortable with getting old, or would like to be. Which is also, I guess, everybody. We address serious issues, but we try not to take ourselves, or anything, too seriously. 

"We" are a company owned by three guys in Washington state, USA, along with a select group of talented freelance editors, writers, illustrators, and other creative and journalistic types from all kinds of other places.

We're not collecting your personal information. We ask for your email address and may require you to jump through techie hoops in order to post comments on the site, out of a desire to keep mischief-makers and other Web nasties out of our hair, and yours. We may use Web software services for some of our features that do similar things.

We may offer 3rdActs.com services to you that require registration, or even payment, in which case we'll inform you up front why and how we're doing that. We may carry ads, and advertisers will no doubt want to gather information about you through their own devices when you respond to their ads. Mostly, though, we want to be as easy-to-use, non-sneaky and unintrusive as we can, while providing you with high quality information, encouragement, and diversion.
